The group that brought last spring’s emotional explorations of peace through music is searching for new members for their 38th season. The Oak Park Concert Chorale (OPCC) announced earlier this week that they will be holding auditions for their 2018-2019 season.
The OPCC is a not-for-profit organization, partially sponsored by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency and partially funded by Oak Park Area Arts Council, with the Village of Oak Park, and the Illinois Arts Council Agency through federal funds provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Chorale features a wide range of compositions from Renaissance classics to the 21st century and is looking for Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, and Basses. According to their website, the group rehearses Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Forest Park.
If your voice is like a combination of Fergie and Jesus you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to schedule an audition.
