Pedestrian Robbed On Ridgeland Avenue

Police are searching for two men who are responsible for attacking and robbing an Oak Park pedestrian last week on Monday.

The victim was walking on the 300 block of South Ridgeland Avenue at roughly 11:55 p.m. Aug. 6 when two men approached the person and demanded belongings. The victim complied but was struck twice in the face before the assailants took off running north on Ridgeland Ave. with the pedestrian’s possessions.

One of the suspects is described by police as late teens or early twenties, 5’8″ with a thin build. The second suspect is described as late teens or early twenties, 6’1″ with a thin build. Both of the men were wearing hoodies.
