The TCF Bank located at 800 N. Harlem Avenue in River Forest was robbed at gunpoint Monday (June 20) at 3:38 p.m., according to police reports.
Three suspects, each wearing hoods and masks, entered the lobby Monday afternoon to announce that they were robbing the bank while aggressively pointing a black handgun at employees, FBI spokesperson Garrett Croon said in a statement.
Surveillance photos only captured images of two of the three suspects. Nobody was shot or injured in the incident, according to media reports.
The first suspect captured on camera is described as a slender black male, 5-feet-10, in his early-to-mid 20s. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, a red mask, white gloves and black pants, according to the Sun-Times News Wire.
The second suspect captured on camera is described as a black male with a large frame, 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-10, in his early 20s. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black mask, blue shirt, and white gloves, according to the Sun-Times News Wire.
