I spent every night this week watching sports and as I write this article I’m thinking to myself, “I need to get outside and do something different.” It brings me some comfort knowing I am probably not the only one that did this. The Blackhawks would play one night and LeBron was whining and throwing himself into a camera guy the next. I couldn’t help but get caught up in the excitement of it all.
At the same time, I really want to enjoy my summer. But I won’t feel like I am free to do so until the hockey and basketball seasons are over. This is why I ask our beloved Hawks to win the next two so we can party at the parade and bask in victory for the entire summer. As for LeBron, I could enjoy my summer if you just stop whining. You’re a 6’8″ giant with an amazing talent and millions of dollars. Nobody wants to see you complain.

Where to watch Game 5 of the Stanley Cup
I almost had a heart attack watching the final 90 seconds of Game 4, but the defense and Crawford held it together to seal the Lightning’s fate. As the series is now tied at two games a piece, we move to a pivotal Game 5 on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Tampa Bay. We recommend the following bars to get rowdy with fellow Hawks fans:
- FatDuck Tavern & Grill – 7218 Madison St., Forest Park
- Kinderhook Tap – 800 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park
- Avenue Ale House – 825 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park
- Doc Ryan’s – 7432 W. Madison St., Forest Park
