If you enjoy live music, good food, and walking outside on warm summer nights with a drink in hand, we have news for you. Downtown Oak Park’s popular dine-around series, Thursday Night Out, will officially begin tomorrow.
Thursday Night Out (TNO) occurs every Thursday from 5-9 p.m. May 24 through August 30. At each TNO event, participating restaurants will offer a special menu to take food and drinks on the go so you can enjoy DTOP’s scenery and of course, live music.
Additionally, ticket booklets are available at the DTOP kiosk at Lake and Marion. For $20, each booklet contains 4 dine-around tickets and one voucher for $2.50 off two adult-priced movie tickets.
One dine-around ticket is good for one item off the TNO menu. For every two ticket booklets purchased, customers receive one complimentary $5 DTOP gift certificate good at participating shops on Thursday evenings during the TNO season, according to downtownoakpark.net.
If you aren’t interested in a ticket booklet, you can still purchase drinks at the beer and wine tent. You also don’t have to pay anything to walk around DTOP during TNO events.
While Oak Parkers enjoy provisions, various music acts will provide live entertainment on Marion Street throughout the summer. For the TNO Kick-Off party tomorrow, 60s-80s rock outfit Bovine will play from 5-7 p.m. followed by classic rock act Rusty Nails from 7-9 p.m.
Grab your friends and get the Memorial Day weekend started a day early!
