We operate in communities that value a vibrant local culture and provide content that is threefold: news, events, & feature stories. This AOP publication covers the suburbs of Oak Park, River Forest, and Forest Park just west of Chicago.

Staff WriterKelly lives in Oak Park with her husband and their two cats, who think they run the place. She is a transplant from Michigan and is thrilled to be living in the Chicago area, especially OP. You'll often find her at the farmers' market on Saturday morning with way too much produce for two people in her bag. Outside of work, her passions include writing, baking, anything crafty, and spending time with good people.

When not admiring the beautiful architecture of the area, Kate plays in a 1960's roots rock group called The Marcatos. She loves her seafoam green Gretsch and would never part with it.
