Drunk driving arrests, a missing Oak Park juvenile & other weekend crime


18-year-old damages village property, charged with DUI & drug possession
Oak Park 18-year-old Michael Lyczak was stopped by police at the 600 block of Harvard on Friday, Feb. 6. Lyczak was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and damage to village property, according to the Oak Park Police Department.

Missing teenager returns home
Briana Ferguson, a 17-year-old female was reported missing the night of Friday, Feb. 6. During the late night hours of Saturday, Feb. 7, the teenager returned home and police called off their search.

Brick-wielding burglar busts into basement
Suspect(s) unknown used a 4×4 brick to shatter the basement window of a home on the 700 block of S. Gunderson at an unknown time this weekend. Once inside, the offender(s) exited through the rear window.

More DUI arrests
Samantha Nielsen, a 26-year-old female from Melrose Park was charged with a DUI on Friday, Feb. 6 after being involved in an accident on the 700 block of Madison.
Daniel Rossini, a 33-year-old male from Naperville was charged with a DUI on Friday, Feb. 6 on the 700 block of Wisconsin.
Michael Daniel, a 59-year-old male from Chicago was charged with a DUI for being twice the legal limit on Saturday, Feb. 7  near the 1000 block of N. Ridgeland.

Aggravated criminal sexual abuse of Oak Park residents
Richard Harris, a 27-year-old Chicago male was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, aggravated battery, robbery, and unlawful restraint. Harris was connected to the assault of two women and a juvenile, all Oak Park residents, on the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 6.
