A 72-year-old male resident of the Oak Park Arms died after jumping from his fifth story unit on Wednesday morning, according to sources.
The incident is currently under police investigation and labeled as an apparent suicide attempt.
An official from the retirement community commented that the man had just moved into the facility on Saturday, May 2 and declined to give out any more information, including his name.
Residents of Oak Park Arms are being offered grief counseling after the unfortunate incident.
