A Berwyn resident was robbed at knifepoint Tuesday at roughly 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon on the 1000 block of South Oak Park Avenue, according to a recent crime report from the Oak Park Police.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male around 20 years-old, standing 5 feet and four inches tall, wearing a dark hoodie with black pants and white shoes.
The culprit approached the victim, displayed a knife and demanded a wallet which contained debit cards, credit cards, a social security card, and $30 cash. The victim handed over the wallet before the knife-wielding man fled on foot.
