This Weekend Around Oak Park

Several media outlets are predicting a high number of traffic jams in Chicago over the weekend. This is largely in part due to major events like the Spring Awakening Music Festival, Copa America Centenario Futbol Tournament, and World Naked Bike Ride.

One benefit of living in Oak Park is not having to worry about driving to get to the city when we have the Green and Blue Lines at our disposal. So, if you decide to head into Chicago this weekend, I highly recommend taking public transportation. However, if you’d rather not see a mass of naked bikers, maybe you’re better off staying at home. After all, we have plenty going on this weekend. Read on to find out what’s happening in the area Friday through Sunday.
