If you are anything like me and have lived in Oak Park for a few too many years without properly exploring the multitude of landmarks the village has to offer, now is the time!
Explore the picturesque historic neighborhoods on a guided bicycle tour of 21 Wright-designed structures. Wright sites featured on this tour include Wright’s Home and Studio, Frank Thomas House, Heurtley House, Cheney House, Furbeck House and more. Bring your own bike or one can be provided (included in tour admission). A perfect themed cross-training event to compliment those training for the Frank Lloyd Wright Run taking place next month.

Spanish Conversation Hour at Oak Park Public Library Dole Branch
The first Saturday of every month at the OPPL offers residents the opportunity to sharpen their language skills. Their calendar features many different languages and this Saturday happens to be Spanish language hour. The friendly and casual hour of conversation is by no means a course but just an opportunity for all levels of speakers to engage and practice either a basic conversation or a story. All levels are encouraged to attend!

Labor Day: All You Can Eat Vegan Pancakes at NatureYoga Oak Park
Come by Labor Day morning for an abundance of vegan pancakes and a fun, social event for the whole family. On the menu will be vegan pancakes of various types and flavors on rotation, a selection of syrups and toppings, Upton’s Naturals Bacon Seitan, orange juice, and fresh brewed coffee.
