The deadline to renew vehicle stickers in Oak Park without facing a penalty is midnight on Thurs., July 14. Sticker prices increase $20 after the deadline and failure to display a valid vehicle sticker may result in a $75 ticket, according to a Village news release.

All Oak Park residents who own or lease motor vehicles are required to renew this sticker and be eligible for parking permits.

Residents whose vehicles are already registered with the Village can renew online. Otherwise, vehicle owners have the option to renew through mail or in person at Village Hall, 123 W. Madison Street. In-person sticker purchases and renewals are available at Village Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays, and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the news release.

Village officials caution that individuals renewing in person should be prepared for lines and wait times that typically grow longer during this week.

Vehicle sticker rates vary by type of vehicle. In order to get an idea of what you might expect to pay, consult the list posted on the Village of Oak Park website.
